When COVID-19 happened, we decided to guide our project from that perspective. Post circuit breaker, children shared about their stay home experiences. Discussion extended to sacrifices made by healthcare workers. Children decided to appreciate healthcare workers by making non-sew pillows and cards. Our mummy then facilitated the presentation to healthcare workers at the Sengkang General Hospital.
In August, we embarked on an on-line campaign to raise funds for St Luke’s Eldercare who was affected by COVID-19. A total amount of $2,600 was raised, thanks to the generosity of our parents and friends.
Through these 2 activities, our children learnt about appreciation and empathy.
