In conjunction with NParks’ Biodiversity Week for Schools 2019, our K1 and K2 children participated in the ‘Playtime with Doo and Ollie’ activity during June holidays.
With the use of an interactive sticker activity book and storybook, “The Super Seagrass Search”, the children were introduced to the awesome world of marine animals and seagrasses on Singapore’s shores.
With their newfound knowledge of the seagrasses’ impact on biodiversity, the children were inspired to protect its habitat by disposing trash properly to keep the environment clean. This is also in line with our previous SSDB project where we brought the children to East Coast Park for litter picking.
The children are so proud and happy to know their little efforts go a long way in keeping the marine animals healthy and its homes safe. Way to go!
