We understand the importance of inculcating good 3R habits (reduce, reuse, recycle) from a young age, given that it is not sustainable for Singapore to continue building more waste disposal facilities because of land constraints.
The children were exposed to 3R habits through activities such as art crafts / diorama box/ assist in setting up learning centre.
“Thinking Big” on the Sustainable Singapore Blueprint, the children “start small” in building on their awareness on 3Rs through above activities. It would definitely nurture their values of “care” and “responsibility “ for the environment.
