Our nursery children recently had lessons on community helpers. We talked about how these workers were affected by COVID 19 as some lost their jobs while others had to work long hours to make our country safe from the pandemic.
We discussed about how we could play a part in helping out eventhough we’re just a child. We decided to make a Thank You card to the person closest to us, our chef Aunty Esther whom had provided for us yummy and healthy food. She made sure that our tummies were always full :)
Each of the thumbprint was a representation of the children and the drawings on it was their representation of Aunty.
Aunty as a great cook.
Aunty served fruits for us.
Aunty liked donuts and sweets.
The children were delighted to pass the card to her. However, as we had to maintain social distancing, the children had to say Thank You from a distance. Thank you Aunty Esther :) We Love You :)
