Recycling plastics continues on Sunshine Kids Care Centre Tampines! More and more children, parents, teachers and staff are getting involved in our SSDB Project.
We are surely having a great time identifying and sorting plastics that can be recycled in SembCorp Plastic Recycling League! We have already collected almost 50kg of #1 PET bottles and 60kg of #2 HDPE, #4 LDPE and #5 PP plastics since we have started this project. There’s only 2 more months left and we hope to gather plastics as much as we can.
In our own small little ways, we hope that we have encouraged and instilled good habits of recycling in our children in the centre and eventually in the whole community!
