On the day of the launch, Al-Nasry @ Sengkang South, Campus 1 & 2 invited parents to learn more about what are the projects that the children of each kebel mainly, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2 children, are going to embark in.
The children also performed a song, “It’s you, It’s Me, It’s my community. Parents are invited to pledge together with their children on their roles to give back to the community.
The projects were tied to the theme of fruits and vegetables, and healthy eating. The children of the various levels made :

Fruit jellies - Pre-Nursery

Vegetables print picture frame and vegetables print for a paper fan and a cornflakes suprise - Nursery

Delectable oat cookies, popcorn and jelly surprise- Kindergarten 1

Plant project and cookies- Kindergarten 2
The teachers went through the processes and indeed the children learnt about the various ingredients and methods of making their little projects.
We had a sale on the items that the children prepared on Little Entrepreneur day where parents purchased the child’s work.
Last but not least, is the day of the visit to the Pertapis Children’s Home @ Kovan where the cheque was presented to the home. The children were excited about the bisit to the Pertapis Children’s Home. They brainstormed on what they would like to share and came out with thier own version of “Rasa Sayang, Sayang Hey!” and playing picture charades, the parents donated dry food items generously.
Indeed, it was an enriching experience for our children and staff.
