To commence our Start Small Dream Big Project, we organized a launch event on June 16th, with the participation of N2 children and their parents.
Centered around the theme “Our Earth, Our Home,” our initiative strives to establish a nurturing early childhood community that instills positive values in our children and motivates them to make meaningful contributions to society. We firmly believe that even at a tender age, children have the ability to actively engage with their community.
During the launch party, we started off by introducing the SSDB project to the children and parents. We shared its purpose, goals, and the significance it holds for our community.
Following the introduction, we conducted a special activity where each participant made a pledge on a cut-out leaf-shaped paper. These pledges represented their commitment to the values and principles of the SSDB project. The children and parents then joyfully pasted their pledge leaves onto our SSDB pledge tree, symbolizing their dedication and unity towards the cause.
To conclude the event, we organized a planting session. This hands-on activity allowed everyone to actively contribute to the environment and experience the importance of nurturing and caring for our Earth. The parents and children planted vegetable saplings, fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature and reinforcing the theme of “Our Earth, Our Home.”
Our launch party was a remarkable success as it instilled a sense of purpose and kick-started our Start Small Dream Big project on a positive and inspiring note.
