My First Skool @ 137 Jalan Bukit Merah held a “Caring for our Neighbourhood” activity on 26 August 2017. Parents and children were invited to do their part in keeping our living environment clean through litter picking.
Prior to the activity, parents donated used plastic bags to the centre to collect the litter.
It was a bright and sunny morning. The parents and children gathered in the centre for a short briefing session after which the group enthusiastically moved to the surrounding areas.
After 45 minutes of joint effort, the parents and children collected bags of litter.
At the end of the activity, the parents and children were happy to play their part in keeping the neighbourhood clean.
