On 27 April 2022, SSDB kits consisting of various resources were distributed to N2-K2 children after the launch party. The kit also had an instructional manual for fatherly figures to work together with the kids to create a 3D kampong house using recycled materials.
Before creating the 3D kampong house, children were encouraged to discuss childhood experiences with their grandads. They also used the photo journal provided by Dads for Life to further facilitate their findings.
Children were also encouraged to have a meal with their dads and to click away. SSDB activities with parental involvement came to an end with children bringing their 3D kampong houses to school for a session of Show & Tell.
