Our Vision
PCF @ Bukit Gombak 535 children and staff embarked on SSDB on 19 May 2021. As this year’s theme is ‘Stay connected, make a Difference”, we decided to organize activities based on the greatest virtue Kindness. During this pandemic, the staff at PCF Bukit Gombak 535 aimed to teach the children that kindness begins in the heart.
Our Objectives
On 19 May 2021, we had a launch party in which we celebrated as a day for showing appreciation to one another, with the iconic symbols of the yellow gerbera and Singa the lion. The objective of the launch party was to encourage children to be kind and considerate and to create public awareness of acts of kindness. During the activity, children learnt to make caring for others a priority, discussed opportunities to practice caring and gratitude and also teachers guided children on methods to manage destructive feelings. Children also shared their kindness acts with their peers and the class teacher who wore a lion mask to role play as Singa the lion.
