SSDB Sales Night marks the end of this year SSDB project. In this event, the children get to sell the craft works they have done. The toddlers potted a plant in plastic bottles, Playgroups used plastic bottles to make a piggy bank, Nursery used potato chips cans to make stationery holder, K1s used old t-shirts to make bags and lastly, K2s used cartons to make aeroplane models.
From this event, My First Skool JW3 managed to raise $368 from Toddler to K2 classes. We will be donating an item bought with the proceeds collected to NTUC Silver Circle Senior Care Centre we have been partnering for years.
The children experienced firsthand on how to reuse recyclable materials to make something else. They had also learnt about how they can cut down on plastics by using reusable bags during marketing.
