The K2 children were introduced to the term ‘community work’ and the ways that they could help the community. We decided to embark on the ‘Saving Water’ project as we wanted to start off with our immediate environment.
Throughout this learning journey, the children gathered ideas on water-related topics like water conservation and water scarcity through Internet search, brochures, pamphlets and newspaper articles. The children also created their own version of ‘Rain Garden’, water-saving gadgets with lego blocks and slogans to create awareness on the importance of ‘Saving Water’.
