Launch of Start Small Dream Big Project 2024 – Spreading Joy, Sharing Kindness.
We are thrilled to share some exciting news about our SSDB Project 2024 – Spreading Joy, Sharing Kindness. This year, our school will be collaborating with two wonderful partners: SG Cares – NTUC Senior Activity Centre and Kindred Studio.
The NTUC Senior Activity Centre, which is located in our neighbourhood at 50 Jurong West St 93, is dedicated to providing care and fostering social engagement among elderly individuals through recreational activities and exercises. Our Champs are eagerly looking forward to working with the seniors, bringing them joy through performances and various activities.
In addition, Kindred Studio will be supporting our project by supplying us with recyclable art materials which will be used in creating meaningful and environmentally friendly artwork.
We believe that this collaboration will offer a great opportunity for our Champs to learn about the value of giving back to the community thus fostering a sense of empathy and social responsibility. Through our activities, we hope to spread joy and connect with the seniors in our neighbourhood.
We will invite parents in joining us during our visits to the NTUC Senior Activity Centre.
