Children, parents and staff from PCF Sparkletots Jalan Kayu Blk 518/522 joined forces in achieving the goal of this year’s SSDB Project, which is ‘Giving Back to Society’. Generous parents joyfully donated items that will be included in the care packs which will be distributed to the community helpers and to the elderly people of All Saints Homes in Hougang Centre and Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home. To appreciate the parent’s kind hearts for participating in this project, the children made some hand paintings with a Thank You notes. This artwork symbolizes the parent’s helping hand, which they gladly use to show their support and care for the community.
By accomplishing this project, we hope that the experiences of children bringing their donations, preparing the care packs and distributing them to the community helpers inculcate a sense of love and care for everyone that works hard for our society.
