Our Centre will be embarking on water conservation for the Start Small Dream Big project (SSDB). We would pivot on the project that we had already started 2 years ago for the same SSDB project. This is for sustainability purposes as we like to ensure that our children apply what they learned about water conservation.
This is to also appreciate the little water source Singapore has developed. Water is scarce in Singapore, unlike many other countries where they have their natural resources for water. Hence, we want our children to continue this practice for sustainability.
Our children will be conscientious on how to appreciate water and use water wisely at home and in the centre. The children will come up with ideas and solutions on saving water such as brushing their teeth using only a glass of water and not to run the tap while bathing, etc.
The culminating work shall be children’s presentation of their saving water activities and create a book where they could give out to the neighbourhood to create awareness on ways to save water in the neighbourhood.
We hope to let our children achieve confidence and start awareness on saving water.
