SSDB celebrates its 10th Year Anniversary this year with the theme of Doing Good Together Celebrating 10 yrs of Start Small Dream Big
IYAD Perdaus Hougang had their SSDB Launch Party last 24th May 2024 and welcomed the children from Infant to Kinder 2.
During the event, we introduced this year’s community partner to the children and emphasized the importance of collaboration and friendship.
The launch party kicked off with lively performances of ‘Friends Song’ and ‘Everyone is Special’, highlighting the value of friendship and inclusivity.
Teacher Angie provided an overview of the Lions Home, outlined the project timeline, and discussed the upcoming activities planned for the children’s visit to the elderly.
Children from K1-K2 classes crafted heartfelt cards expressing their well wishes for the elders at the Lions Home.
Meanwhile, N2 students showcased their creativity by decorating cards with drawings depicting acts of kindness and messages of goodwill for the elderly.
These are the Nursery 1, Playgroup and Infant class showing their support for our SSDB project by creating a handprint craft using a heart and a home template. These symbolises that each one of us can share our love to the elderlies at the Lions Home.
