On 29 April 2024, Nursery 2A children from E-Bridge Preschool (Montreal Link) embarked on an exciting adventure with our Start Small, Dream Big Project 2024! Our journey began with lively discussions inspired by news articles around the globe, all centered on our current Inquiry Topic: ‘Living’, particularly focusing on animals and pets. It was heartwarming to see children’s genuine concern and empathy towards the well-being of animals and pets.
As a class, we unanimously decided to dedicate our project to our furry companions! Thus, “Compassion for All Paws!” was born as our project title. The children eagerly delve into discovering more about animal care, extending their curiousity by collaborating with Ms Anna, a pet groomer from Angel Paws. Together, we learned the importance of showing respect and kindness to our furry fcompanions riends and vowed to never harm them in any way.
In anticipation of our SSDB launch party, we brainstormed ideas and collectively decided to create a vibrant banner and craft a special “Animal Pledge” to express our commitment to caring for our pawed pals in the neighbourhood. With enthusiam, we practiced reciting the pledge and worked together as a class to bring our banner to life.

On 29 April 2024, we officially launched our SSDB Project 2024! On this special day, we welcomed parents to join us in an informative sharing with Ms Anna. We explored various aspect of pet care, learning valuable insights about understanding animal behaviours and communicating with them effectively. It was fascinating to discover how much our furry friends can convey through their body language.
Our party came to a close with a touching commitment and heartfelt pledge, embodying our unwavering dedication to fostering kindness and empathy towards the animal in our midst. We trust this occasion will linger in our hearts, guiding us to consistenty cherish our connection with our furry companions and uphold a sense of care and reverance for them in all our interactions.
