The children at PCF Sparkletots Preschool at Sembawang West Blk 780D had the opportunity to share and spread kindness through fairytales and/or storybooks that they hear every day. The children and the centre staff also dressed up as their favourite storybook characters during the launch.
The children then immersed themselves in making posters about Kindness to be put up in their respective classrooms. These posters will serve as reminders for the children to always embody Kindness in everything that they do.
After having fun with their crafts, the children proceeded to open their resource packages for their future Start Small Dream Big journeys. Below are photos of the K2 children with their big smiles after receiving their SSDB resource packages.
To end the day, the children watched a livestream of “The Rainbow Fish” via Sistic.com.sg. The children learnt about being humble and kind to others, and to never look down on others.
Indeed, a little bit of Kindness goes a long way. The children went home with huge smiles on their faces as they took home some valuable lessons that they will always remember.
