We embarked our SSDB 2022 journey with the theme on “Our Family, Our Community”. We launched out this project on 3 June 2022. Our K2 children have proudly presented a short skit to relay a massage on respecting our elderly. Besides, all levels will be learning the importance of recycling with the Logan of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”.
In the upcoming activity, 1) Children will learn that elderly need to be honored and respected for all that they have contributed for us and for the society in general. Without their hardship, we will not have a comfortable home to stay. 2) Children will learn that everyone play a role to take care of our environment so that we can have a cleaner and habitable home. If on the other hand, we neglect nature and undertake actions that harm it, the more difficulties we will have to access clean essentials like water, food, and shelter.
To appreciate back to our community, we will be collecting unwanted fabric donated form the parents to create meaningful items for fund raising to our beneficial “Ling Kwang Home”
