This year, our school is joining the water-saving missions with Water Wally and Water S
We had an amazing launch party 🎉 on 9 May to kick start our water-saving missions!
First, we watched and listened to a puppet story to find out the impact of water pollution.
The story brought us through the journey of Water Wally and Water Sally where they saved a turtle trapped in a plastic bag. It came to the discovery of Water Wally and Water Sally that people have been throwing rubbish in the ocean. By doing so, the ocean has been polluted and water quality is affected.
Thus, Water Wally and Water Sally wanted to raise awareness to us on how important it is to keep our water source clean. As such, we joined them in this water saving mission where we will learn to use water wisely, understand more about water conservation and water sustainability.
Then, we watched a video about water conservation, where we discovered how inconvenient it was for people in the past to get water for their daily usage. It made us cherish our water even more now.💙
After that, we sang and danced to “ Turn Off the Tap” by PUB X PinkFong to end off the party.
