In the month of July, the children from N2 to K2 focus on the value of “Being considerate towards others”. The children listened to the story “The Good Neighbour” and shared their experiences on what they should have done to be a considerate neighbours. They then participated in role play activity based on different scenarios to show how they can be considerate towards their peers.
The children also learned about the term “personal space” and the importance of respecting other’s personal spaces through the “Red Light, Green Light” game.
The children had fun working together to create traditional costumes. They learned about the importance of respecting and being considerate to people of different races through the process.
To further reinforce the value, the children also worked together to come out with lyrics to create a “Considerate song”.
