The children at Mosaic Preschool Siglap were educated about the importance of saving the earth by involving in various sustainability activities in our school.
Firstly, we had our school open house with the theme “Earth Little Helpers”. Prior to the event, we had parent involvement project whereby the children were tasked to think creatively to make items using recycled materials. The children made games, bird feeder, toys, plant pot and many more.
Secondly, during our Earth Day celebration, children were involved in activities such as planting kangkung plant in a recycled bottle pot designed by them. They also brainstormed on ways they can save the earth which they pasted on our “I Pledge to…” board display.
