Kinderland CCK is pleased to participate with ‘Start Small Dream Big’ initiative once again this year! This year we embarked on a lovely project, partnering with Lion Befriends Singapore. The beneficiary aims to help seniors who suffer from social isolation, depression or physical disabilities which leads him/her to be unable to care for himself/herself. The school decided that kindness should also start from home and decided on having a Grandparents appreciation week to bring awareness on kindness to elderly. Often children are cared by their grandparents and they learn a great deal from their life experiences. Grandparents were invited to showcase their talents and have fun with the children. It was truly a wonderful event for all!
As part of our SSDB project, our children contributed items through their handicrafts . They made beautiful crafts using popsicle sticks and recycled materials and showcased the children’s effort, time, talents and love to show their support towards this project. Through this activity, children expressed kindness and appreciation to others in their own ways.
They sold their craftwork and raised funds for the beneficiary and it was such a success! Thank you to all the parents and children for making this event possible!
