Our school found that the elderly in All Saints Home are in need of blood pressure monitors. With this in mind, we decided to hold a bake sale. The Kindergarten 1 & 2 children were the star bakers! We took pre-orders from parents and we were truly surprised and touched by the support of our school’s parents.
Two days were set aside for the children to fulfil the orders for banana cakes, cookies, blueberry muffins and brownies. Each child had a role to play and they ensured they did so for a tasty outcome!
From the sale, we raised a surprising amount! We could afford a few blood pressure monitors and hampers for the staff as an appreciation for caring for our elderly. Kudos to them!
