We are thrilled to share a remarkable achievement and recognition with our school community. Little Atlas Preschool has been invited to join the North East Community Development Council’s 9th District Meeting, a significant honor in recognition of our dedicated collaboration and meaningful contributions to the residents of the North East District.
This recognition is a testament to the outstanding work our innovators have undertaken as part of the “Start Small, Dream Big” project. This initiative saw our little heroes earnestly purchase, pack, and distribute 500 care packs to the elderly community, ensuring that our elders felt valued and cherished. Additionally, our young talents put on a heartwarming performance at Ling Kwang Home for the elderly residents, spreading joy and companionship.
At this prestigious event, we received a distinguished plaque in recognition of our school, teachers, and young innovators’ dedication and hard work in making a positive impact on our community. This hornourable award was presented by the North East District Mayor, Mr. Desmond Choo, and Dr. Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment & Ministry of Manpower. Additionally, we had the honour of meeting Mr. Baey Yam Keng, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Transport of Singapore, who provided beneficial insights and further reinforced our commitment to making a positive impact in our community.
This achievement proves that our school is on the right track of giving back to the society through community engagement. We are extremely proud of this recognition and the path it paves for our future collective efforts.
As we continue our journey with the “Start Small, Dream Big” project, this recognition serves as a powerful reminder that even small actions can have a significant and lasting impact on our community. We are deeply honoured and motivated to persist in our mission to build a brighter future for all.
