We kick-started our project with a centre-based celebration where the children came dressed as veterinarians, animal rangers, zookeepers, and other animal care professionals. Through a variety of engaging activities—including sharing sessions by professionals such as pet groomers and pet owners, ans themed play stations craft works—the children explored how different careers and individuals play a role in protecting and caring for animals. This immersive experience helped them connect their learning with real-world efforts in animal care and conservation.
After the engaging activities, the children gathered excitedly for the Animal Protector Pledge. Together they recited the pledge, promising to care for animals and keep their homes safe. Once they finished, each child placed their thumbprint and handprint on a large banner, symbolizing their personal commitment to protecting our furry and feathered friends. This heartfelt moment not only reinforced their promise but also created a vibrant, tangible reminder of the day’s lessons and their shared dedication to animal care and conservation.
