Children of N2 and K1 gathered for a launch party on 26 May 2023. Parents were invited to the launch. This year, we embarked on the theme: ‘Caring and Sharing Hearts’ for our SSDB Project. The objectives were to promote awareness of caring for people and environment through our participation in SSDB Project as well as to have quality interaction and involvement of PSG to help support SSDB Project.

1) Caring for the Environment (3Rs)
2) Caring for Residents in Jurong West Nursing Home
Parents were invited to share with children the importance of 3Rs and how we can put into practice - recycling and upcycling items into useful things/crafts.

Prior to the launch, both N2 and K1 children were engaged in activities to know the importance of 3Rs - Reduce/Reuse/Recycle and identify what items can and cannot be recycled. They discussed on how improper waste disposal would affect the Environment. We hope to boost recycling habit for our young children to join in the national initiative to recycle right and it all begins at home…..

They observed the steps and were able to follow through for the next collection.
