In this activity, the children were provided with recycled newspaper and masking tape to create their own newspaper ball for our MSD game activities. The use of a newspaper ball is effective for many games as it is light and does not bounce far when it falls off to the ground. The children then participated in various activities like ‘Toss and Catch’. The class then had a discussion on how they could find new ways to use things that otherwise would have been thrown out. Through the discussion and activities, the children learnt that it is important for each of us to do our part to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
