For our second activity, we had a ZOOM session with a bus captain. Children were engaged in meaningful conversation and learning more about a bus captain job scope. They were involved in questions and answers as well.
We could see the children being intrigued by the nature of the bus captain’s work and he was more than happy to share and answer questions.
Through this activity, we taught the children how to show appreciation toward the bus captains that worked hard in making our daily commute a breeze. Children also learned about their job scope and how a bus operates and what the commuters can do.
It was a fruitful session as this helped the children to be understanding and gracious commuters. They too, displayed their appreciation towards our bus captains, thanking them for their hard work and service to the people around us.
