ACT OF COMPASSION
These were some of the photos taken in the different classes during our SSDB 2021 launch on 17 May.
Since last year, the launch has been a quiet affair compared to those years when we had them in our assembly area with invited guests, parents and caregivers.
Nevertheless, the act of compassion is more important than anything else and this was displayed in the faces and hearts of the children, our SSDB special agents.
ART OF COMPASSION
These were some of the beautiful cards that came together with the boxes, created by the children and their families. It was a home project for them to send a message to the recipient of the box.
The Fung Family created twenty beautifully made-with-love cards not just a home project but a family project.
Student Jordan had two important messages - ‘Wear your mask’ and ‘Wash your hands’. Right to the point!
Today is the last day of our collection. We have not reached our target of 500 boxes yet. But we know we will get there as more will be coming in next week!
With the current height of the Covid-19 situation in Singapore, our SSDB project has become more meaningful and crucial to bless our friends under the Woodlands Social Centre, Presbyterian Community Services and Fei Yue with these masks.
We will continue to do our part for ‘Let’s Stay Safe Together’ project and we look forward to next week…because no one can do everything but everyone can do something!
So stay-tuned for the next update!
Stay safe and take care!
