The K2A children embarked on a journey where they get to know more about their grandparents and share about their favourite memories of their grandparents. It started with a Parental Involvement Activity where the children discovered more about their grandparents such as their name, age, favourite food and favourite memories. Some children brought in picture collage of their favourite memories with their grandparents and shared it with their peers. They also went ahead to draw their favourite grandparent and talk about why they like their gramps. Through these activities, children learn to appreciate the presence of the elderlies. Some shared that they didn’t have the chance to meet their grandparents as they had already passed on before they were born. Some shared that they didn’t have any pictures taken with their grandparents as their grandparents live in another country and they had not seen them for a while. Despite all that, all of them showed excitement during the show and tell session as they reminisce their moments with their grandparents.
