In our continuous effort to promote interaction between pre-schoolers and seniors, My First Skool at Blk 164 Rivervale Crescent has decided to embark on our project “SSDB 2020: Our Care For The Seniors During Challenging Times.”
Due these challenging times with the outbreak of COVID-19 and the implementation of Circuit Breaker, we have to set aside our monthly intergenerational activities with our community partner, St Luke’s Eldercare Centre. Some of the children also shared that they missed their grandparents whom they could not visit during this period. Hence, the teachers have designed a pre-recorded programme of our children performing simple exercises, a greeting card saying out words of encourage to support and motivate seniors to stay safe and healthy.
