Finally, the big day for the cleaners and our children has come! Our centre has collaborated with another centre to hold the Cleaners’ Appreciation Day event on 13 May 2018.
Our K1s and K2s have prepared a special performance for the cleaners in appreciation of their efforts for keeping our environment clean. As they perform the song, the children went forth and invited the cleaners to sing and dance along with them.
Following their performance, it was time for the gift presentation ceremony, whereby our Guest-of-honour, Mr Lawrence Wong, handed out goodie bags to our children. Smiley faces on while receiving their goodie bags!
As the cleaners enjoyed their lunch, the children were also provided with snacks. Our children and their families mingled around to interact with the guest-of-honour and cleaners.
This event has provided us with an unforgettable experience, allowing each and everyone of us, especially the young ones, to take time off to show our sincere appreciation towards the people who made a huge effort in keeping our environment clean. Without the help of the cleaners, we won’t be able to live in a clean environment.
