On International Friendship Day, K1 children from MOE Kindergarten @ Valour eagerly visited One Punggol to share kindness with the local hawkers by presenting them with their handmade crafts. They were delighted to participate in community partnership initiatives once more.
The children received a briefing on April 11th about their upcoming community partnership with St. Luke’s ElderCare at One Punggol, during which they watched a video to gain insight into the activities at St. Luke’s ElderCare.
The children were captivated by the video, sparking their enthusiasm as they enthusiastically brainstormed ideas for activities to share with the ‘uncles’ and ‘aunties’ at the Eldercare. Collaborating with their teachers, they scheduled a date to craft and plan engaging activities to enjoy with the elderly before their visit in the upcoming term.
To conclude the day’s activities, the K1 children initiated a singing session to commence the Start Small Dream Big Project for this year!
