On 17th April 2019, we started our Start Small Dream Big journey, with a trip to Mun Fatt Tong Nursing Home in Woodlands. Prior to the visit, the children and teachers work on their special performances. Parents made contributions of food items for the residents. The children danced to the modern songs such as “Panama” and “witchdoctor” and traditional fan dance to “Mo li hua”.The residents were happily clapping and dancing along to the dance moves. We also interacted with the residents through an art activities as a friendship token between the children and the residents.Before we said goodbyes, each residents were give a goodie bag that were filled with contributions from parents and teachers.It was a sucessful learning journey for the children.What’s next for us?
