Dorcas Home Care Service delivers meals to elderly who are not able to to make their own meals on their own.
“Maybe they are get too tired easily when they walk to the market.”
“Maybe it is dangerous because they can fall down.”
“Maybe they are sick.”
These were some of the reasons the children thought about when asked why the elderly needed help with their meals.
Our K2s went back to the Start Small Dream Big board to look at their ideas 💡
“We can bake and sell muffins!”
Both K1 and K2 embarked on deciding on the flavours to sell.
They also took some time to design the muffin order form.
The children finalised their flavours: chocolate, banana, apple and strawberry.
Our centre pledged to raise $400 from the sales of muffins to Dorcas Home Care Service for their Sponsor A Meal Campaign.
