Our project on the theme “Appreciating others with inclusive practices in school and community” has come to a satisfactory closure. It brought meaningful learning to our children in accepting differences between friends with varying abilities. With the acquired knowledge, they initiated activities to support their friend’s learning journey, interact with others from different schools and record their experiences in their journal book. The children talked about their experiences and suggested presenting gifts to their newfound friends. They designed games and artefacts using sustainable materials as a token to express their heartfelt appreciation for the collaboration. Our K2 children were delighted with the SSDB Mascot gifts for their effort in the SSDB project too.
