In a bid to foster environmental consciousness among the children, the launch of the SSDB Project marked a significant milestone. With the slogan “Small Steps, Big Impact; Building a Sustainable Future,” the initiative aimed to empower children to become stewards of the environment.
The project commenced with an engaging activity where children embarked on nature walks, allowing them to immerse themselves in the beauty of their surroundings while gaining a deeper understanding of environmental issues.
In addition to exploring nature, the children also participated in simple earth art activity.
As part of the launch event, children delved into the pages of “The Earth Book” by Todd Parr, a colorful and informative guide that celebrates our planet and highlights simple actions individuals can take to protect it. Through storytelling sessions and discussions, children were inspired to take action and make a positive difference in their communities.
The SSDB Project embodies the belief that every small action can contribute to a larger, more sustainable future. By empowering children with knowledge, appreciation, and a sense of responsibility for the environment, the initiative sets the stage for a generation of changemakers committed to preserving the planet for future generations.
