On the 22nd of April 2022, everyone at Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park had our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) Launching. For our fourth consecutive year of joining ECDA’s initiative, we have taken the theme of ‘SKC CommuniTeam’. This focuses on children, parents and teachers working hand in hand to show appreciation and care for the community.
The Kindergarten 2 classes discussed on their very own SSDB projects with the guidance of the teachers. They started by identifying which problems around them were close to their hearts. Children enthusiastically took turns sharing on what concerns them. They then thought of how they could help in their own little ways.
Each class created different posters that showcases their ideas and planninf process for their SSDB implementations. As each class took differenr sub-themes, they created different posters aiming for various causes. After creating the posters, the children presented their ideas to the rest of their peers, enhancing their public speaking skills as well.
As part of SKC’s mission to nurture every child holistically, events and activities that touches on characters building and responsible citizenry were lined up throughout the month of April.
