This year, our centre celebrated National Day together with Family Sports Day. Parents from all levels were invited to join us in this event as part of the celebration. Both children and parents were encouraged to put on red and white costumes to commemorate Singapore’s birthday.
Children were introduced to National Day and the significance of celebrating it in the morning. They watched a presentation on National Day and observed how Singapore has changed over time.
Photobooth was set up for families to take photo. As part of the event, parents will exchange their tickets with a gift, sponsored by the centre.
Teachers conducted Zumba with aims to lead a healthy lifestyle. Both parents and children moved to the National Day songs.
Different booths of various games were set up for both parents and children to be engaged with. This time, we brought the activities outdoor to ensure sufficient space for them to be engaged with.
Despite the hot weather, both children and parents were seen enjoying themselves from the smiles on their faces.
We would like to wish Singapore a “Happy 59th Birthday!”
