Nursery children from My First Skool Choa Chu Kang Blk 212 spend their afternoon interacting with the elderlies within our community. This is a collaboaration with our centre and Chua Chu Kang Zone 4 RC. The children performed a Malay dance titled, “Dayung Sampan”. The elderlies were so excited that they danced along with the children! Next, the elderlies demonstrated how to make glutinous rice balls (Tang Yuan) to the children. They even asked the children to join in! The best part will be cooking their own hand-made Tang Yuans. The elderlies thoroughly enjoyed themselves interacting with our little ones, and our children learned valuable lesson on showing respect to the elderly and interacting with them confidently!
