- It had been a fruitful experience for the staff, children and their families. Through the various activities, the children are more aware and conscious of being kind to others. The exposure to the community provide them the opportunity to put in practice the values that they had learnt in the classroom. The community involvement provide the opportunity for the children to become more confidence in carrying out a given task such as giving the goody bags to the Bus Captains, walking around the neighbourhood with the Senior Citizens and playing games with the Senior Citizens. They displayed self esteem when interacting with others whom they do not know such as the Bus Captains and the Senior Citizens.
It is very meaningful to participate in SSDB President Project. We will continue to support the project by participating actively. We aim to provide enriching learning journey to the children through community involvement.
