Continuing on our theme of “Sharing is Caring”, the children took some time to put together a care package for their neighbours in school. Using aloe vera gel and isopropyl alcohol, the Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2 children made batches of home-made sanitiser which they then diligently poured into bottles.
The Nursery 2 children contributed by drawing on “Stay Safe” cards, filling them with happy and positive images.
The children then assembled various care items such as milo and tea sachets, wet tissue and cards all together.
Finally, the children spent the weekend giving the care pack to their neighbour. Some of the children were slightly upset parting with a gift pack but learnt to share it with someone else. On a whole, we believe and hope that the children have learnt that it is indeed more blessed to give than to receive.
