Children have always been taught about showing kindness through stories and planned ecperiences in school by their educators. In reference to this, children have been directed that kindness can be shown in many different ways. Thus, the K1 and K2 children together with our parents have joined hands to create the awareness in preventing Dengue from spreading at the same time tender their kindness to the community. The children and parents have extended their kindness as they walk around the neighbourhood with signage boards that indicating the 5 Mozzie Wipeout Steps. This activity have captured the attention and interest of the residents when the children have marched around the neighbourhood while singing the 5 Step Mozzie Wipeout Song. To enlighten the residents more about this awareness, the children have prepared shadow activity for the residents to guess the mozzie wipeout steps being shown in the shadow box. As a simple appreciation for the time and effort rendered by the residents, the children have prepared a simple token for them to bring home.
