Amidst the ongoing COVID-19 situation in Singapore and around the world, the children at MapleBear @ Pasir Ris Park are finding ways to give back to the community as well as to appreciate our community helpers around us.
For their first community engagement, the children showed their support to the frontline workers by writing heartfelt notes of encouragement to the healthcare workers at Sengkang General Hospital.
These notes were well-received by the nurses and doctors at the hospital and it was a great opportunity to talk to the children about the importance of these healthcare workers amidst this pandemic.
In our next step of the project, we look forward to extending our help to Pertapis Senior Citizen Fellowship Home through a virtual concert and donation drive. Stay tuned!
