BBTK children and their parents bless the BCS (Bethesda Care Services) Meals-On-Wheels programme with rice supplies.
The Meals-On-Wheels (MOW) service is available for frail, needy and homebound seniors who require assistance in their daily living activities and are without a caregiver during the day. Two cooked meals (lunch and dinner) are delivered twice a day to the doorstep of seniors who need help preparing meals or purchasing them. Each month, MOW uses 400 kg of rice.
As BBTK children and their parents shopped for the rice, the parents discussed the MOW service and the significance of each packet of rice with their child.
BBTK children and their parents contributed a total of 950 kg of rice to MOW.
