Our Nursery 2 children from Kindergarten and Childcare services will embark on and participate in this project, ‘Recycling Is Fun’ We hope to instil a sense of care and love for the environment in the children, encouraging them to be responsible and fostering an appreciation for Earth, all while having fun learning about recycling. The children will engage in activities to practise zero waste management and will be given the opportunity to get creative using recycled materials. We will invite the parents to participate in creating project using recycled materials with their children.
The children used recycled materials to create art and craft pieces, and they created a ‘ Thank You’ project to show their love and appreciation for their teachers on Teacher’s Day.
In addition, the children shared and present their home project which they worked on with their parents, using recycled materials found at home.
As part of the project, the children were educated on the importance of caring for the environment and keeping it clean and safe. They participated in littler picking and practise recycling.
