In the month of August, we did a refresher of the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) to the Kindergarten Two children through story-telling and short videos. It is important that we keep practicing the 3Rs so that everyone plays a part to cut on on producing waste and protect our environment!
After the refresher session of the 3Rs, the students came together to make recycling bins to be placed in class! They painted and decorated three bins to sort out the recyclables. The three categories are plastic, paper and can.

This project supports children’s creativity by using recycling materials to create the bins, and creates awareness of the goodness of recycling items instead of throwing them away.
