On 21st July 2020, our centre had a Racial Harmony celebration in school. Children donned various traditional clothes from different cultures on this special day.
One of the experiences children had was to taste traditional snacks such as Ondeh-Ondeh, Murukku and Ang Ku Kueh. Children savoured and enjoyed the taste, as some may have not tasted any of these delicacies.
Additionally, they had also created a craft, tracing the hands and combining these hands cut-out together to symbolise working together and respect amongst one another. Children thoroughly enjoyed this special occasion.
