Our centre had embarked on the Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) organized by the ECDA (Early Childhood Development Agency, Singapore) with our centre theme “Together, a better world, Together, make a difference!”
Objective: Get children to be grateful and show appreciation to all essential workers who risked their lives to fight COVID-19. During these challenging circumstances that we face, we want to be a part of the community who shows care and love to everyone.
It is meaningful and we shared our thoughts to the parents and our centre’s children on the Project launching day, 17th July 2020.
Children showed their excitement and participated actively in various activities such as making “Thank you” cards and performed a song and dance item for the essential workers.
We are proud to say that we received immense support from our students’ parents as they wrote thank you messages in our SSDB bulletin board which was displayed along our centre’s corridor. Parents also participated in our parent-child bonding project in making “thank you” tokens for the essential workers and some parents generously contributed sanitizers, mask, and face shield for children and staff.
Thank you, Parents, for your kind support!
We are looking forward to more exciting and meaningful activities for our unsung hero workers. Thank you so much!
Let’s get through it together!
